GOON is an illustrated artist’s book first published by New Bookz in 2009. Originally released as a limited edition, the book quickly gained an enthusiastic following. Continued demand and strong audience response led to two additional editions.

In May 2013, the third edition of GOON was launched at the Mahe-Mehr Gallery in Tehran. This release marked a turning point in Rita Rahimi’s artistic development. GOON was among her earliest works to embrace multiple visual styles and conceptual approaches, breaking away from the idea of a single, fixed aesthetic.
