"Understanding Comics: The Invisible Art," published in Farsi as “هنرکمیک ۱,” is a non-fictional comic book written and illustrated by Scott McCloud, with translation by Rita Rahimi.

This book explores the definition of comics, traces the historical evolution of the medium, explores its fundamental vocabulary, and examines the various ways these elements have been employed. It also discusses the theoretical aspects of comics, viewing them as both an art form and a communication medium.

Since its publication in 2012 by Aban Book Publications in Tehran, over 6,000 copies have been printed and distributed.
